Ingredients:
1 3/4 cups
flour 2 Tbl. sugar 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 cup milk 2 large eggs 6 Tbl. (3/4 stick) butter,
melted, slightly cooled 1 tsp. vanilla extract Instructions:
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in large bowl.
In another bowl, whisk milk, eggs, butter and vanilla.
Add milk mixture to dry mix and whisk until batter is
smooth. Let batter stand at room temperature for 10
minutes.
Heat waffle iron according to manufacturers instructions.
Spray iron with cooking spray. Pour enough batter onto
each waffle grid to cover generously (about 1/2 cup batter
for 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 grid).
Spread evenly with heatproof spatula.
Cook until waffles are golden brown and crisp on both sides
(about 5-6 minutes).
Makes 6-8 waffles depending on thickness.
