Shredded BBQ Beef Sandwich..........Lesley Pappa


 

Ingredients:
 
4 lb. boneless chuck roast
1 1/2 cups ketchup
1/4 cup brown sugar - packed
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
2 tbl. Dijon or brown mustard
2 tbl. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup chopped onion
salt and pepper to taste after beef is shredded

Instructions:
 
Brown meat.
Mix ingredients.
Pour over meat in crock pot.
Cook on low for 6 hours.
Remove roast and shred.
Put roast back in crock pot and stir.
Cook 2 more hours on low.
Serve on sandwich buns.
 
Recipe can be cut in half when using 2 lb. roast.
