Chocolate Spice Cookies..........Mom Pappa

Ingredients::

3/4 cups Crisco
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
3/4 cups cocoa
1 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 1/4 tsp. cloves
1 1/4 tsp. allspice
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
4 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 1/4 cup milk

Instructions:

Cream Crisco and brown sugar together.
Mix in all remaining ingredients.
Work dough with hands.
Roll pieces into walnut sizes.
Place on greased cookie sheets.
Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees. (Until cookies lose most moistness).

Ice when cool.

Makes 70-80 cookies
